Remodelling making process of bee pendant.

This photo shows some of the stages our goldmsith went through when he made a bespoke honeycomb & Bee pendant. The different steps are as follows:

Top left – The old jewellery the customer brought in.

Top middle – The jewellery after it had been melted in our workshop.

Top right – We created a wax mater pattern for the bee & this photo shows the bee after it had been cast with it’s sprue still intact.

Middle left – The bee casting polished & with the sprue removed.

Middle – The melted Gold after being shaped & laser engraved with the honeycomb pattern.

Middle right – The pendant with the bee soldered to it & the pierced out honeycomb ready for the jump loop.

Bottom – The finished pendant on its gold curb chain.
