Back view of 4 claw leaf detail.

This image shows the inside back of a Diamond engagement ring setting. The ring was made from 18ct yellow gold& was set with an oval Diamond. The customer liked the idea of a leaf motif on the underside of the setting. From the top view the ring had 4 ‘talon’ (pointed) claws. As these claws wrapped around the stone they opened up to create the leaf shape in the negative space.
