RECYCLED GOLD
At RING jewellers we always use recycled gold whenever possible. This might be using recycled gold to make a bespoke piece for a client, or even using a customer’s own gold to create a remodelled piece of jewellery. This means that when we take on a bespoke commission the gold is not being mined especially for your piece of jewellery even though it will be a totally new item. Recycled gold has far less impact on our environment & we do not charge extra for this service.
Diamonds for peace
Diamonds for peace are an organisation who carry out great work helping to support artisanal Diamond miners & cutters. DFP also help to provide schools, sanitation & emergency assistance & literally save lives! DFP is a great cause that we are proud to be a partner of.
Fairtrade gold
RING jewellers are proud to be accredited stockists of Fairtrade gold. Jewellery with the Fairtrade gold stamp is extra special – buying Fairtrade gold makes a real difference to the lives of miners, their families and communities. It means you have the reassurance that the small-scale and artisanal miners were paid a fair price, giving them financial security.
Single mine origin
Another option with our gold is single mine origin gold. With this gold we know exactly where the gold is mined so we can offer full transparency when it comes to the supply chain.
Lab grown Diamonds
When we take on a Diamond engagement ring commission we are able to offer our customers the choice of either a natural mined Diamond or a laboratory created stone. As technology advances lab grown Diamonds are becoming more & more environmentally friendly & are growing in popularity
Conflict-free Diamonds & coloured gemstones
At RING jewellers we take the origins of our gemstones very seriously. We receive a conflict-free guarantee from all of our suppliers with some even buying them straight from the miners.
Packaging
We are always looking to improve our packaging to recycled materials. Wherever possible we try to group our deliveries from suppliers to reduce vehicle emissions.
