At RING jewellers we have been designing & making award winning jewellery since 2005. We make stunning bespoke engagement rings, amazing custom wedding rings & beautiful bespoke jewellery for milestone occasions like birthdays, anniversaries & weddings. Almost all of the jewellery you see on this website was designed & made by us in our local workshops. We are proud to say that in a very competitive industry we have we have some of the best reviews in the country (see our Google reviews).
This page showcases some of the more unusual bespoke jewellery commissions that we have made. We have our own Brighton workshops right here in The Lanes & most of the jewellery we create is made within yards of the shop itself in Brighton. This means our designers can discuss our bespoke commissions at every stage, face to face with our goldsmiths & diamond setters so nothing is left to chance.
“But what if I don’t like the finished piece?” I hear you ask. Tough luck – not really! If you want anything at all changed on a bespoke jewellery commission it will be done for you free of charge (see our satisfaction guarantee).
“Isn’t bespoke jewellery expensive?”. Not at RING jewellers! In some shops it can be because they involve lots of ‘middlemen’ who all add to the cost. At RING jewellers though we have our own workshops to keep costs down. This, along with the huge choice of materials, means that our bespoke jewellery is often lower cost & higher quality than ready made jewellery from other stores. For example if a shop has an 18ct Gold ring set with a natural ‘E’ colour VVS1 clarity Diamond it is going to be expensive. If a client has a lower budget we could hand-make them a custom Diamond ring set with a lab grown Diamond in 9ct Gold for a fraction of the cost.
You may wonder how you might go about designing a bespoke ring. Well, it’s actually quite rare for a customer to have a fully formed idea of what they would like. More often than not a customer will have just a rough idea, or maybe a few photos on their phone & that is all you need! Our team of designers will talk you through options & actually show you what these look like. This can be done remotely via email, or in person at our Brighton jewellery store. We have hundreds of rings in our windows & also lots of photos of previous commissions so you will leave with a very clear idea of what your custom jewellery will look like.
At RING jewellers our aim is to give you sound advice in a no pressure environment. We can make bespoke jewellery from a variety of metals including; 9ct & 18ct yellow, white & rose gold, Platinum, Palladium, Titanium & Zirconium. We use fine quality, conflict-free coloured gem stones & diamonds from around the world. We also offer a choice of natural or lab grown Diamonds when we take on a bespoke Diamond engagement ring commission. All of our diamonds over 0.20ct are laboratory certificated free of charge. Our natural Diamonds are usually GIA certificated while lab grown are more often IGI certified.
If you visit RING jewellers (in The Lanes, Brighton) in person you will also be able to make use of our amazing selection of tools to help envisage your dream bespoke jewellery. We have ‘The RING bar’ which helps customers to work out the profile & width of their perfect ring. We have models Diamond cuts to illustrate their differences. There are magnetic ring sets where you can interchange different settings, stones & shanks (bands). We also have examples of the 10 metals we work in, in both satin (matte) & polished finishes. When it comes to gemstones we have a huge selection of both Diamonds & coloured stones. Some loose, some set into jewellery. If it’s a wedding ring you are looking for we have examples of ladies shaped bands, gents textured rings, plain rings & Diamond set wedding rings. Lastly, the best tool of all is the hundred’s of stunning pieces of jewellery in our windows. These are often the best way to help customers to picture different design details.
