Family ring used as a liner in 9ct white band.

In this jewellery remodelling project we repurposed a customer’s inherited ring that had been cut off of their relative’s finger. The ring was yellow gold but the customer does not wear this colour. They were very keen to keep the ring close for sentimental reasons so we used it as a ‘liner’ inside a creamy coloured 9ct white gold ring. As a nod to the original ring we hand engraved vertical lines on the outside. The customer was thrilled!
