Among the team we are lucky enough to have highly qualified gemologists so we are able to educate our customers & answer any questions they may have about Diamonds or coloured gemstones . Our team work alongside our customers to create unique, quality pieces specifically tailored to you.
Transparency is central to our business. Our prices are based on the chosen metal and the gemstone size, weight and quality. We pride ourselves on our competitive pricing; we do not charge the significant fees often associated with bespoke pieces. At RING jewellers we ensure everyone is able to create a dream piece within their budget, so if you love a piece that’s over your budget please let us know and we can use our expertise to make alternative suggestions. We once recreated one of our £15,000 natural pink Diamond ring designs for £2,500 using a pink Sapphire!
We are conscious of our responsibility to make ethical and sustainable choices as a business, that is why all our gemstones are conflict free, we offer our clients Fairtrade Certified Gold, single mine origin gold and recycled gold and are consistently trying to reduce waste where possible.
We also offer a remodelling service for jewellery pieces you may have inherited or simply do not get enough wear out of. We appreciate the sentimental value attached to these pieces and invite you to visit us to discuss how to respect the history of these pieces while reworking them into something you can wear everyday.
Stuart Stanley founded RING Jewellers in 2005. He had a love for art & design from a young age & studied product design at Buckinghamshire university.
Stuart’s started his jewellery career working in an antique jewellery store in The Lanes just a few metres away from where RING jewellers is located. It was during this role that he fell in love with gemstones learnt & the intricacies of the jewellery business.
Over time working in this second hand jewellery store Stuart learnt how jewellery was made by talking to goldmsiths with decades of experience. This inspired him to take on bespoke commissions which was a new source of revenue for his employer. This was the perfect turn of events because it linked Stuart’s passion for design (which he studied at university) & tied it in with his new found love of jewellery! Then, in a full circle moment, his first boss was closing a store & gave Stuart the first refusal on the lease. Although taking a shop on with no stock was a daunting prospect Stuart grasped the opportunity with both hands & RING jewellers was born!
