Family crest with elephant deep seal engraved into gold signet

This signet ring features a ‘deep seal’ engraving of a family crest. The crest includes an elephant representing great strength, wit, longevity, happiness, royalty, good luck and ambition. It also shows a crown & the Latin inscription ‘Deo ducente nil nocet’ (Nothing can harm us when god leads us).

The deep seal engraving involves engraving the detailing deeply into the ring, in reverse. This means when a wax impression is taken the detail appears 3 dimensionally the correct way around.

As well as deep seal we also use laser engraving techniques & also using other hand engraving styles.
