This halo engagement ring features a rare emerald cut  fancy yellow diamond surrounded by a ring of colourless diamonds set atop a pave diamond band. This particular yellow diamond ring was commissioned as a celebrity engagement ring for TV producer, author, and model, Holly Willoughby.

Holly’s celebrity ring featured a 1.03 carat GIA certified emerald cut natural fancy yellow diamond in an emerald cut shape. All of our diamonds 0.20 cts and up are certified by a reliable gemological laboratory. 

Fancy coloured diamonds are rare and expensive. Some diamond colours are more rare and more expensive than others. Yellow diamonds, often called canary diamonds, are one of the more affordable coloured diamonds. 

Natural fancy colour diamonds are extremely rare because they have not had their colour enhanced. Treated coloured diamonds can be enhanced but still be mined. Treatments for these are usually normal and can only be detected by a gemologist. 

For your convenience, RING Jewellers offers both natural fancy coloured diamonds and lab created coloured diamonds. Lab created coloured diamonds are different from treated coloured diamonds because of the difference in origin. Moreover, lab created fancy colour diamonds are less expensive than both natural and treated mined coloured diamonds.
